We had a fantastic week in the Netherlands. We had a very warm and open hearted welcome and everything was prepared and organized very well. For Nino and David, the children of our school, it was a little bit strange to see such a big school. But they have been in a nice group, had a nice school buddy and the host family gave them the feeling to be at home. They also became friends to the children of the other partnerschools. Thanks to everybody!

Now a few words from Nino and David:

Nino: In the Netherlands it is very nice. There are lots of bikes. I like it very much here. They have a very nice school and there are windmills. In the school they have a cool playground. The people in the Netherlands are taller than in Austria. The children in school are very nice too. Daan and his family are also very nice. We have been fishing and bowling with Daan. There a lots of flowers specially tulips. The Dutch are very nice. I found a lot of friends. The teacher was nice too. In the Netherlands it is cold. Barbara, our host mum can cook very well. I liked the wraps. My neighbor in school, Rami, is very nice and helpful. The interactive board in school is cool!

David: Holland is a nice country but it’s also cold. There are cool boys and a lot of bikes and windmills. The school there is huge. The children in the school are very nice and in the break I play with Nino

and my buddy Casper. The people in the Netherlands are very tall. There are lots of children. With our host family we had a lot of fun, had very nice food and we caught a fish in the river. We played football and we went to a fairground. In the Netherlands are a lot of trains and it was just cool!
